The YMCA Academy is a small, independent secondary school designed to meet the needs of students who learn differently.  Our hands-on, practical approach integrates academic credits with practical life skills; making it the perfect place for students with mild learning disabilities, learning style differences or those needing remediation.

Small class sizes, a team of highly skilled teachers, the latest in assistive technology in a wireless environment, ensure a high quality of learning strategies that work for our students.  Enrolment at the school includes:  membership at YMCA Health, Fitness and Recreation facilities, adventure camp experiences, workplace internships, co-op education and small group remediation.
